Where We Work

The Rocky Mountains

NSAR’s administrative offices are situated at 5040 Corporate Plaza Dr Ste 9, Colorado Springs, Colorado.

At 6,035 feet (1839 meters), our city sits more than one mile above sea level, though some areas of the city are significantly higher. Colorado Springs rests near the base of one of the most famous American mountains, Pikes Peak, at the eastern edge of the southern Rocky Mountains. Rising to 14,115 feet, it was Katherine Bates’ visit to Pikes Peak in 1893 that became the inspiration for the song, “America the Beautiful”.

Colorado Springs has three military bases, and is home to the renowned United States Air Force Academy. With a diverse population of over 450,000, the city is also home to three Olympic Training Centers. These training centers have sports facilities and support services for the following summer Olympic, Paralympic, Pan American and Parapan American sports:

  • Boxing
  • Cycling (Olympic and Paralympic)
  • Figure skating
  • Gymnastics
  • Paralympic Judo
  • Pentathlon
  • Shooting (Olympic and Paralympic)
