Non-negotiable disclaimer
- Registration alone is optional ID — not legal status. No private registry grants federal rights.
- Only a letter from a licensed mental-health professional carries legal weight for ESA or PSD accommodation.
- ESAs no longer have airline cabin rights under the 2021 DOT final rule. Service dogs (including PSDs) still do.
- ADA public-access rights apply only to service dogs — not emotional support animals.
