JetBlue Airlines Emotional Support Animal Forms and Requirements

JetBlue ESA policy is to accommodate your unique travel needs, as well as provide you an exceptional experience. JetBlue accommodates all dogs, cats, and miniature as accepted ESAs on their flight. However, they request your emotional support animal must be trained at the very least to behave appropriately in a public setting. Besides having outstanding behavior, your emotional support animal can fly with you in the cabin of the aircraft at no additional charge granted you provide the JetBlue emotional support animal forms no them no later than 48 hours prior to departure.

JetBlue Airlines Emotional Support Animal Forms

JetBlue emotional support dogs, cats, and miniature horses all require an emotional support animal letter and the three downloadable files completed and submitted to them prior to your travels to exercise your ESA rights.

  1. Medical/Mental Health Professional Form
  2. Veterinary Health Form, or vaccination record with current rabies vaccination information
  3. Confirmation of Animal Behavior Form (Handler Form)

JetBlue Airlines ESA Requirements

To make a remarkable experience for all the fly with JetBlue, they remind those that are flying with an emotional support dog or cat that you meet their basic requirements while at the airport and while on board the aircraft.

  1. Notify JetBlue airlines of your special services at least 48 hours in advance to your flight.
  2. JetBlue only allows one (1) ESA to travel with a handler: either dog, cat, or miniature horse.
  3. If traveling with a large animal, the animal must fit in the footprint of the seat(s) you purchased.
  4. The animal must remain on the floor, unless it is small enough to fit in your lap without touching any part of the seat or adjacent customers.
  5. No animal may occupy their own seat.
  6. Sorry, no ferrets, rodents, insects, snakes, spiders, reptiles and other exotic animals are allowed.
